Growing up in a small town in WI was tough. Being a young queer, it was detrimental to not have any resources available in a homophobic environment.

I started Le Queer to celebrate Queerness in WI and help bring Queer education and resources to smaller communities. Le Queer strives to break down the “closet door” and help in the movement to increase understanding and acceptance. Our growing list of testimonies, “InQueeries”, and lists of Queer-friendly businesses “Queer Map” are here to help!

We are working hard to build our “Queer map” to showcase local queer friendly businesses and share stories about the people that grew up in or currently live in those communities.

On top of our year-round mission, once a year, we will celebrate queerness at our annual La Fete de Queer. Details for 2025 fest will follow shortly.
